SKOBSC Club History
The St Kevin's Old Boys Soccer Club was conceived in the offices of the Premier of Victoria in 1999.
In the dying days of the then Kennett Government, SKOB Michael Zappone had a vision that other SKOBs and interested parties could fulfil their desire to play soccer on the weekend in a friendly and social environment. Other founding members at that meeting were Salvatore LaFauci, Christian Formica, Nigel Camelleri, Matt O'Neill, Andrew Agardy, John Ferraro, Andrew Bognar and Vinnie Orsini.
The Club commenced playing in the new millenium; with the first match against Scotch College Old Boys in the year 2000. Since the Club’s founding days, the culture and atmosphere has continued to provide many players with an appreciation of mateship, loyalty and sacrifice in our quest for the Club’s first premiership.
